The college has recently introduced Library Visit sessions for all 6th semester students where visits to the college library are mandatory and compulsory every day between 3.10 - 4 pm. A routine has been set up rotating the nine academic departments on different weekdays as follows -
Mondays - Sociology and Mizo
Tuesdays - Political Science and Hindi
Wednesdays - Commerce
Thursdays - English and Economics
Fridays - Education and History
It is hoped this initiative will encourage students to spend more time reading and broadening their knowledge beyond their prescribed courses, while developing a love of books in these times of widespread digital distractions.
