As per notification from the Controller of Examinations, Mizoram University, dated 22.11.2022,
Mr. Lalmalsawma Khiangte, Associate Professor, Dept. of Political Science, has been declared qualified for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) on fulfillment of the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Awards of Ph.D. degree) Regulation 2009.
Under the Ph.D. and MZU registration number MZU/Ph.D./825 of 01.5.2015 & 1506564, Dr. Lalmalsawma successfully worked on the thesis, "Ethnicity and Nationality: a Study of Mizo Identity Formation" under the supervision of Prof. J.K. Patnaik.
